Theta's unique IP has been protected by 20 patent applications.
Additional applications are in preparation.
Three of these applications have already been granted by the USPTO.
The key areas of these inventions are on:
- dynamic biasing & power management
- integrated balun transformers
- programmable channel-select filters and
- high-speed self-contained compensation and calibration loops.
Theta has developed and successfully deployed the capability to design RF chips either in CMOS, or SiGe BiCMOS with maximum CMOS content, based on time-to-market, performance, and cost tradeoffs.
Using its methodology and technology Theta has been able to deliver successful RFIC products, with a single silicon pass.
